Choose a comfortable material since it can prove to be sweaty or itchy. According to the shape of your face choose the right Hijab. The Kuwait Hijab suits square while the Turkish suits round faces. Al Amirah styled Hijab suits longish faces while a rectangular face needs to keep the forehead visible and bring the hijab nearer to the sides.
Make a bandana out of a scarf and put it tightly on your head. This ensures the Hijab will stay in place.
Fold your scarf into a triangular shape and put it on the head so that one side is longer and the other is under your chin.
Hold the longer side and bring it to the opposite side and put the scarf behind your head and on the shoulder and pin it tightly so as to ensure it does not fall off.
